Palace Square
One of the most luxurious and harmonious architectural building in the world is the Palace Square in Saint Petersburg, which has remained for nearly three centuries, attracting tourists’ attention to the Russian tour . Palace Square was built between 1819 and 1829 by Carlo Rossi, an Italian neoclassical architect who designed most of the streets and squares of Saint Petersburg. Like the Red Square in Moscow, the Palace Square in Saint Petersburg has seen many important events in Russian history. The “Bloody Sunday” on January 22, 1905, was one of the most important events of the square which the Tsarist army shot the defenseless people who had gathered for a strike.
